Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her best-known role is Skyler White in her role on the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in a Drama Series. Her other roles comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. The actress fell in love with acting at Preparatory school prior to moving to Ohio together with her family during the mid-70s. The theatre studies she pursued was through Northwestern University. A semester was taken at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to trying out for film and TV roles. Anna got her first major part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. Anna continued to be in film as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late the 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years in Deadwood's second season. Skyler is Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully was another of her roles. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the relationship he has with Skyler is mirrored in the television show.
